Tongxin Stone·Ladder of Love
A giant rock stands on a high platform deep in the Nanmu Forest. Four vigorous nanmu trees grew in front of the giant rock, with two large and two small branches and lush leaves. This is Gaoping Tongxin Village, located at the junction of Ba and Shu. The ancestors of Ba and Shu have lived here for generations, thrived, and blended like water and milk. Residents have a custom of kneeling and bowing at this place when getting married in order to achieve eternal unity, a hundred years of good union, and children's well-being. Therefore, the stone's spiritual power is abnormal, and it is called "Tongxin Stone" by local villagers. For the convenience of tourists to visit and pray for blessings, the Gaoping Town government funded the construction of stone steps and railings, known as the "ladder of love". Nowadays, the railings of the stone steps and platforms are covered with lucky bags and copper bells, expressing the new couple's positive expectations for the future.
